Biography
Born on May 23, 1976 in Dniprodzerzhynsk, Dnipropetrovsk
Oblast.
Graduated from the Yaroslav Mudriy National Law Academy of
Ukraine (Kharkiv).
He began his career in 1997 at State Enterprise Zaporizhzhia
Nuclear Power Plant where at first he worked on the position
of legal counsel and then became the Head of Commercial Law
Department.
Later Mr. Shemiatkin worked for OJSC KTPK Dnepr as a
Deputy of the Head of the Board on Legal Issues.
Since 2001 he has been working for KM Partners as tax
and legal adviser.
Specialization
Tax and customs legislation, tailoring of tax effective models
of contractual relations, legal issues of foreign-economic
activity, intellectual property law, civil law.
Alexander Shemiatkin has a solid experience in litigation with
tax authorities.
Languages
Alexander Shemiatkin is fluent in Ukrainian, Russian and
English.
